About David Suleimanov When I sit down to draw or paint, I am transported to a world that is entirely my own. It's a place where imperfection is not only accepted but celebrated. I find beauty in the quirks and idiosyncrasies of lines and shapes that most people would consider flawed. Drawing is not just a hobby for me, it's a way of life. It's where I can put my soul and thoughts onto paper, creating something that is uniquely me. I prefer to work at night when I'm not interrupted by anyone. My paintings have been sold to collectors from all corners of the globe, and I am humbled by the fact that they have found a special place in their homes. What's more, many of my buyers have expressed to me that they find themselves drawn to my paintings time and time again. They say that they like to watch the painting for some time, as if discovering something new each time they look at it. This is the greatest compliment I could receive as an artist. To know that my paintings are not just appreciated for their initial beauty, but that they have a depth and complexity that reveals itself over time, is truly rewarding. For me, creating art is not just about making something pretty to look at. It's about creating something that speaks to the soul and leaves a lasting impression on the viewer. And I am grateful that my buyers have recognized and appreciated that. |
